Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services company that is seeking a qualified and registered accountant with strong analytical skills and financial expertise to fill the job of Accountant, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining high quality and accurate financial data and provide it to both internal and external clients on a timely basis. The winning candidate will be challenged to provide both analytical and technical skills for assigned projects.

Responsibilities: Deal with tax filings and tax related (WHT, CIT and VAT) issues In charge of day-to-day queries from internal clients Assist the Finance Manager on Timesheet, Work-In-Progress (WIP) and Debtors management through regular meetings with partners Manage the annual financial audit process, acting as the key point of contact for the external audit team Assist the Finance Manager in the liaison of bank, statutory body and tax advisors, as well as internal and external auditors Manage the statutory accounts and reporting with preparation of Indonesian financial accounts Prepare financial reports as required by the business and other support departments Assist in the generation and analytical review of business trends, expense management, profitability analysis and other key performance indicators to assist with setting direction for the business and legal products Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related major from reputable university Be a seasoned finance professional with a professional qualification (e.g. CPA, Chartered Accountant) is a must A minimum of 8 years’ experience; with at least 5 years’ post qualified experience Legal industry and professional services experience will be an advantage Strong knowledge of local accounting, reporting and updated tax requirements Strong project management and analytical skills Self-driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration and integrity Great communication skills with high level of intellectual curiosity and learning ability Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience of using Elite 3e software will be an advantage Fluent English, both oral and written All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
