Plant Manager Job (Gas Manufacturing), Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia Palembang (Sumatera Selatan)

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of largest privately-owned domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) refinery companies in Indonesia. Its main business is the refining and processing of natural gas to produce LPG (Propane and Butane) and Condensate. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a high-quality candidate to fill the position of Plant Manager(LPG Refinery), to be based in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia.The winning candidate, who must have a minimum of 15 years’ hands-on experience with medium-sized chemical, NGL or natural gas production plants, will be primary responsible for the efficient scheduling and operation of the plant a per MIGAS Standards.

Responsibilities: Safety and operation coordination of the maintenance of equipment and plant facility Ensure LPG Products meet MIGAS Specificationsand customer requirements Performing production within established guidelines for production/inventory control Supervision of quality-assurance personnel, plant workers and office staff,including formal performance appraisals as per company policy Establishing and maintaining safetyandproductive working environment through enforcement of company policies and procedures as per MIGAS/LH Provide annual manufacturing budget and forecasting Liase with all relevant central and provincial governmentdepartments or branches CSR Requirements: Willing to be permanently based in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia Bachelor’sdegree(min.), preferably in chemical engineeringor related major from reputable university 15 years (min.) hands-on experience with medium-sized chemical, NGL ornatural gas production plant, experience as plant manager at natural gas plant preferred Experience in gas plant design and project management experience Proven history of success Conversant with MIGAS & local governmentlegal requirements Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in liaising with external government agencies, (Pertamina, MIGAS, Police, Immigration, PEMDA/government institutions) Handling CSR activities Good command in MS Office & understanding of Hysis, Engineering Software/Applications All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
